From Brazil to building something beautiful.

Nine years ago, Laura moved from Brazil to the United States and began building a new life far from home. Today she cleans homes across the Seattle Eastside and speaks both English and Portuguese.

In Brazil, Laura earned her degree and professional credentials in pharmacy, a field built on precision, cleanliness and getting every detail exactly right. Those credentials didn't transfer to the United States, so the career she had worked hard to establish couldn't simply continue here.

Like so many people who start over in a new country, Laura adapted. She found work in residential cleaning and discovered that, whatever the job, one thing was always within her control: the quality of her work.

She has never believed that any job is beneath her, or that doing something well is beneath anyone. Quite the opposite.

After years in the home cleaning industry, Laura decided to take everything she'd learned and build something of her own.

Bela Casa means beautiful home in Portuguese. It's a small connection to Brazil, and a simple expression of what Laura wants to leave behind every time she finishes a job: a beautifully clean home.

Laura isn't interested in a revolving door of customers or rushing through as many houses as possible. She'd rather build trust and long term relationships with regular clients: learning your home, understanding what matters to you, and providing the kind of consistent service where you never have to wonder whether the job was done right.
